I saw this post over at ajaxian.com earlier this morning when I was reading my RSS mess and thought I should post something about it.

I think this is just a joke, if so it is pretty funny.

Enjoy!

Sure the Young Entrepreneur logo is nice and all, but is it really saying “young entrepreneur”? I personally think that it looks like a shadowy figure standing in the alley of a business/building causing some mischief, or they are too scared to go in so they are just hanging out in the alley waiting to pounce.

Only reason I brought this up was because I saw this on a list over at LogoDesignLove as one of the best business logos. I’m going to have to say, I’m not sure how this one slipped through to be the final logo of choice.  I personally would have selected a different one.  Maybe a ‘person’ walking through a door to a business.  As if they were a “go-getter” and on their way to the top!

Anyways, I just thought it was worth a post because of its comedic value.

I grew up with Justin Rosenbohm in LeClaire, Iowa, trading baseball cards down the street, sledding in the winters, and playing football (and busting teeth) in the summers. We then went to Cody Elementary together and started our annual “jump out the emergency exit of the bus on the last day of school and run like hell” and “snorting smarties” traditions.

In the past couple months I’ve found out that he is suffering from Von Hippel-Lindau Disease,–a relentless disorder in which tumors invade the body. Some are benign, while others are cancerous. In the Spring of 2007, Justin lost all of the vision in his left eye due to this disease. Now a year later, Justin has been trying to recover from two brain surgeries, only to be attacked by painful cancerous lesions on both kidneys.

Please visit the blog my friend Tony set up over at http://www.rosenbohmracing.com/ and leave a video comment on a post, or if you feel like donating, please do so. Every bit counts towards the growing stack of medical bills. Please keep him in your prayers if nothing else. Thanks!

Here is a little more information about where money can be sent etc:

So I wanted to let you all know about the “Justin Rosenbohm Medical Fund” which has been started to help with medical and related expenses. Thankfully there is some medical insurance, although coverage is minimal. Justin and his family are faced with an outstanding number of medical bills, with more to come in the future for additional surgeries and hospital stays. He has been unable to work since his first brain surgery in January. If you would like to donate, you can do so by sending a check payable to the Justin Rosenbohm Medical Fund, and in the memo line of the check, write in account number 30341759. Please send your check to the following address:

First Central State Bank
1291 Eagle Ridge Road
